Frozen Boardwalk is another large funnel colorwork cowl. It sits around the shoulders with the yardage of a shawl but without the hassle of needing to secure it. It easily covers the collar of a sweater or coat to protect your neck in the cold. This shape is my favorite thing to wear.

The pattern is one size but can be easily adjusted by adding or deleting chart repeats.

This is a great bold pattern for some of the brighter hand-dyed yarns out there. I recommend choosing 2 wildly different colors with little to no white flashing for the motif colors and either a very light or very dark solid neutral for the background color. The background color is also a great place to use a worsted weight if you want the motifs to really pop.
