Fryd top
Fryd, Freja and Fenja, were designed for our popular Summer Knitting Box - but we love it just as much during winter. It can be used as a slip-over or vest, styled with a shirt or T-shirt. Match it with the Fenja shawl, knitted in the same supersoft cashmere and merino yarn, Önling No 11.
If you prefer a lighter version, it can also be knitted in our everyday yarn, Önling No 12 - or leftover from our silk kit.
The V-neck top is knit in the round in lace pattern from the bottom up. Then proceed in stockinette st up to the armhole and finish off with i-cord. The pretty lace pattern creates a beautiful wave hemline.

Now cast on 3 new sts and bind off for the armhole with an i-cord at each side. Bind off for the V-neck mid front and knit each front piece separately, ending in a strap.
The back is continued and then bound off for V-neck at the neckline, after which each shoulder is knitted separately, ending in a strap.
The straps are knit together on each shoulder.
