Looking for some fun???? Well save the drama for your mama because this dramatic shawl practically knits itself. Stitch markers are used to separate sections so very little counting- just smooth, fun, funky knitting! Easy slip stitch sections are combined with garter, and stockinette stitches for amazing dimension and texture. German Short Rows give this shawl a little kick of excitement!!!! (and a few rows of actual counting just to keep you locked in!)

I used Mad Scientist Element because it glows under UV lights and that is super cool!!!! Plus it is crazy squishy and soft!!!

Yarn:
Mad Scientist Yarns Element (100% Superwash Merino, 436yards/100grams)

Main Color : Adamantium- 2 skeins, 700 yards
Coordinating Color : Vernal Equinox- 1 skein, 350 yards

Needles: US 5/3.75mm and US 7/4.5mm circular needles

Notions: 4 Stitch Markers (more if you use them for short rows) T-pins and blocking wires for blocking

Gauge: 22 stitches = 4 inches in garter stitch after blocking. Although gauge is not crucial for this project, it will affect the finished size and yarn requirements. A looser gauge will result in the use of more yarn.

Finished size: 30” deep x 65” wingspan after blocking.
