FUYUGAKI is a seamless triangular shaped shawl knitted top-down from the central neck stitches to the edge. Simple slipped stitch pattern is easy to knit and creates a textured fabric. The shawl is accentuated with a slight ruffle. Suitable for a lazy night in or for a daily walk in the park this light, yet warm shawl is perfect for all year round.

Finished Size
After blocking, the sample shawl measures 176 cm (70 inches) long along the top edge and 77cm (30 inches) deep. You can easily make your shawl smaller or bigger.

Gauge
The gauge in the slipped stitch pattern after blocking measures 17 sts x 34 rows and 10 cm x 10 cm.

Yarn
One color version was knitted with 2 skeins of Aspen by Baah! (Sport / 5 ply 75% Merino, 15% Silk, 10% Cashmere/ 330 yards / 100 grams) in colorway Bella.
Two color version was knitted with La Jolla by Baah! (Fingering / 4 ply 100% Merino / 400 yards / 100 grams) in colorways Pecan and Baia. For the colorway to be used in the border (Pecan in the sample) you will need a full skein. Standard La Jolla by Baah! skein weight is 115g. For the second colorway (Baia in the sample) 268.0 yards (245.1 meters) 67 grams is needed.
