This pattern includes three designs: the Tudor Style French Hood with Attached Snood, Chain Mail Snood, and Super Easy YUMMY Snood that I designed and made for our afghan hound “Geisha” (Tahkira Angelsun Memoirs).

French Hoods are normally made on a buckram frame that is reinforced with millinery wire. For this original design, I used another technique which is described in the pattern itself. The top of the snood is adorned with hand couched glass pearls.

The snood can also stand alone as a Chain Mail snood. It is perfect for males as well as females.

Also included in the pattern is Geisha’s “Yummy” snood that is made from Blue Heron Elephant Bulky Yarn on a 15mm hook. It is easy to make and works up VERY quickly. It would be perfect for raffles, rescues, donations, etc.

This pattern has been retired.

These snoods fit afghan hounds, standard poodles and other breeds of similar head size.

Angelsun Crochet Patterns--Made with a Hook, and a Quirk and a dash of Mirth! As with ALL of my patterns, purchasers are encouraged and welcomed to sell finished creations.
