Ribbon Stitch also known as Ruching is very pretty when worked in fine yarn and small needles. The ruching is created by simple increases and decreases. The cowl is knitted diagonally and finished with grafting.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
Intermediate
SIZE:
Cowl, infinity (sample shown 7.5” by 50”)
MATERIALS:
- elann.com Silken Kydd (70% Super Kid Mohair/30% Silk, 232y/25g), 2 balls
- One 4mm (US 6) 24” circular needles or a pair of same size straight needles -Tapestry needle -5mm crochet hook -Contrast color smooth waste yarn
GAUGE:
Approximately 20 sts per 4” after blocking (exact gauge is not important)
