GerBEEra granny square
What do you call a bee collecting nectar from a Gerbera? GerBEEra
This pattern describes the steps for adding the bee to Made by Lisek’s Gerbera beautiful granny square (instruction for the Gerbera or the background square not included but needed to add the bee. You can get the pattern here:
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gerbera-granny-s...)
If you’re looking for the bee without flower on the empty granny square instead, you can find the pattern here:
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/that-stings-gran...
The bee itself is constructed amigurumi-style and can be made as the classic yellow and black or brown honey bee, or any other colour.
Any yarn will work, just select a hook at the lower end of the recommended hook sizes, so the stuffing doesn’t poke through the bee. You don’t even need toy stuffing, if you are like me and collect all your yarn cuttings - just in case… Well, this can be the case!
There are instruction to crochet the stinger, like I did, or you can glue on a piece of felt instead.
Happy crafting!
