I am updating all my patterns and am making them free to download from Ravelry. However, I am happy to encourage donations (maybe just a $ or $2?) for a charity close to my heart - the Macmillan Cancer Support, so please feel free to click here.

These delicate socks were inspired by my friend Gill – gentle, elegant and truly wonderful - they will be winging their way to her for Christmas! Essentially, the socks have a broad ribbed cuff that extends down the leg to lacy bands that expand to fit the leg and foot perfectly. The lace ‘blooms’ when being worn – just like blocking. The stretch pulling the bands of lace open shows the lace at its best. Try it and see!

Although the pattern has been written top down, it could easily be converted for toe-ups without too many issues.
