Gilly’s Big Bow is a chunky double knit bow that can be used in a variety of ways. Sew it to a comb, some bobby pins or a head band to make a cute accessory. Use it as a cute embellishment on your clothing. Embarrass your dog. Gilly’s Big Bow can do it all.

Links are provided in-pattern to tutorials on kitchener stitch and on how to make a crochet provisional cast on.

Gilly’s Big Bow is an excellent way to practice your kitchener stitch grafting and provisional cast on. Knit it with a Super Bulky yarn, doubled Bulky, or quadrupled Worsted weight yarn. If you choose to use Super Bulky only the really bulky yarns like the one’s I’ve suggested will do the trick. Most super bulkys should ideally be doubled.

An adorable way to use up leftovers!
