A pair of socks with a little gingerbreads pattern is a must have for this year’s Christmas! Firstly, we’re knitting a cuff with a double hem. The cuff is the main colorwork section – a zigzag (repeated close to the toes) and some gingerbreads in a contrast color. The main pattern is a consequence of collaboration with Dominika Peszko (@pracowniapeszko on Instagram). A heel with a flap is also knitted in a contrast color. The leg is knitted in main color, and is finished with a zigzag pattern in a second color. Last, but not least the toes grafted at the end are knitted.

Please, read the instructions carefully before casting on!

Materials:
• yarn: about 75g of fingering weight yarn, in two contrasting colors. Sample shown in Woollala Sock Merino Set (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon – 50g+20g (212m+85m);
• needles: 2.25 mm 23 cm needles or long circular needles or DPNs (the pattern is written for short circulars, but you can use DPNs or long circulars if you want);
• stitch markers (if you need them for marking rows), cable needle if it’s needed, tapestry
needle and (optional) sock blockers.

Gauge:
48 rows and 36 stitches in 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.

Sizes:
M (L) – 21 (24) cm foot circumference in the widest point, with adjustable lenght
