“I absolutely love how yarn choices can make the same lace pattern into two completely different finished pieces,” says designer Jared Flood. A traditional circular lace shawl worked in heavier yarn makes for a unique home accent as a blanket. Worked in fingering weight wool, a knitter can create an elegant and timeless piece of Shetland lace.
