Inspired by the incredible firework jellyfish, found living in the deep sea 4000ft underwater off the coast of California, these little jellyfish are made using glow in the dark rayon yarn to mimic the natural bioluminescence found in many deep sea creatures. The rayon is lightweight enough for the tentacles to move in a gentle breeze and when used with a 2mm crochet hook, it is firm enough to hold its shape without stuffing. If glow in the dark rayon is unavailable, a reflective or glow in the dark thread can be used, held against the yarn of your choice, for a similar effect.

This pattern is suitable for confident beginners.
