These instructions will guide you towards a cute little narwhal complete with fins, a flippy tail and a smart spiral horn.

The main body is worked in one piece, in the round, using US crochet terms. You’ll need to know basic single crochet, increasing and decreasing but I’ve included plenty of pics to help get through any sticky bits.

You’ll need:
A fairly solid, not too stretchy yarn - same as with any amigurumi creation and the smallest hook that works without splitting the yarn Also a finer yarn and hook for the horn. You’ll need about half a ball for the main body and a generous scrap for the horn (a shorter horn if you run out!)
ie:
approximately 30m of DK/8ply yarn and 2mm hook for
the body approximately 10m of 4ply yarn and 1.5mm hook
for the horn (or smaller if you can manage it)

You’ll also need:
A marker to mark the ends of your rounds (hair grips work well)
stuffing
pair of 9mm eyes
