We think it’s hilarious how babies sometimes look like old geezers - so we created this shawl-collared grandpa sweater for your grouchy little old man! Suit him or her up and no matter how grumpy, your child will be stylish. And YES, despite reasonable common-sense notions, babies DO require pockets to store their tiny little pipes, and patches to prevent them from wearing holes through the elbows of their cardigans after years of use!

sizing: 0-6 months (6-12 months, 12-24 months, 3-4 years)
Finished Chest Measurement: 21” (22”, 23.5”, 25”)
Back of neck to cuff: 11” (11.5”, 12.75”, 15”)
Arm length from underarm: 5.5” (6”, 7.5”, 10”)

materials: worsted weight yarn
Main Colour: 220 (260, 320, 380) yds
Contrast Colour: 110 (140, 200, 220) yds

gauge: 20 sts / 4” in stockinette stitch (using larger needles)

needles: US #7 / 4.5mm and US #6 / 4.0 mm (or as req’d to meet gauge); 24” circular and double pointed needles in each size

Pattern includes techniques such as provisional cast-on, picking up stitches, and short-row shaping.
