For me, a great grandpa sweater must be warm and woolly, have a shawl collar and pockets, and have a bit of an oversized fit. It doesn’t hurt for it to have a bit of fair isle colorwork, and it should also look good on men and women alike. This pattern is my interpretation of the gramps genre, and I hope you’ll feel as cozy in it as I do.

Fit: The fit of this sweater is oversized; it’s meant to feel as if you’re kind of wearing grandpa’s sweater ;) This sweater also works for both men and women.
