Guppy has soft, cute, irregular curves at both ends. It is composed of these stitches: seed stitch, cables, ribs, double zigzags, knits, and purls. Both written instructions and charts are included but once the patterns are established, neither are needed because this is a highly visual design. (If you have made a Grasshopper, you know what I mean! If not, you will easily see once you start.)

I bought one super size skein of yarn that cost me $5.99 USD with my Michaels coupon. And I have enough left for a hat or mittens! But any worsted weight yarn should work.

This highly textured heirloom baby blanket will be a hit at showers and with new parents. (And with baby, of course!)
