This is the first Hats pattern pack to go with the “Bat in Need of a Hat” and “Dragon in Need of a Hat” patterns! The link to the bat and dragon patterns are below.

This pattern pack is part of a new project I have created, where crochet pattern creators can collaborate and make ‘hats’ packs to fit different crochet animals. As each pack is released I will make a bit of a ‘master-list’ on the free bat pattern page to keep track of them!

I (and hopefully many other pattern creators!) will be regularly releasing different paid hat pattern packs, which will include different hats for the animals to wear. These pattern packs will help to transform the animals into a ‘blind box’ item (think Smiskis, Labubus or Sonny Angels!) which will be perfect for selling at market stalls or online. All you’ll need to do is make boxes or bags for your animals to be sold in, and include photos of the different possible hats your customers may find in their box! They would also be perfect for market stall claw machines, where customers can try to pick up the animal with the hat they want.

This pattern has both written step-by-step instructions and photos. This pattern is created for people with an intermediate level of knowledge of crochet, and requires some hand sewing. This pattern uses US crochet terms and is in English.

The images in this pattern are of hats I made out of 4 Seasons Marvel 8ply yarn, using a 3.5mm hook.
