Crochet pattern for hanging ornaments with contrast designs.

Use the colours of your choice to match the seasons and your décor. Soft, unbreakable ornaments are a great choice if you have small children or cats at home, and you can make several from a single ball of yarn.

Pattern includes three different colour-work designs, plus details on how to create your own designs in the central panel of the ornament.

Made with DK (light worsted weight, Category 3) yarn and a 3.5mm (US: E) hook, the finished ornaments are approximately 6cm or 2.5 inches in diameter.
You can easily make larger or smaller ornaments by choosing a different yarn and appropriate hook. The pattern includes detailed notes on choosing an appropriate yarn.

This pattern only uses the dc (US: sc) stitch and its decrease. It is fully illustrated with colour photos and tips are provided throughout. Plus all my crochet patterns come with my full e-mail support for any equation whatsoever.

Tutorials are included on colour changing, and on the ‘invisible’ decrease method which is so useful to learn.

For more experienced crocheters or once you are familiar with the pattern, the file also includes a one-page unillustrated pattern in standard crochet notation for ease of printing and quick reference. The best of both worlds!

This pattern is available in both UK and US crochet terminology. Both files will be available for you on purchase and you can choose whichever you prefer to use.
