These cheerful mandalas are easy to make, and make great decorative trivets for your table. Cotton fabric yarn trivets protect the table and even help keep the pot base warm.
You can use bought t-shirt or other fabric yarn, or you can make your own fabric yarn by cutting up old t-shirts.
This pattern uses basic stitches, and includes my own special technique for the edging.
