Hardangervidda is one of many mountains in Norway and this pattern is inspired by norwegian mitten patterns. The pattern has a folklore touch to it and you can change the color combination which ever way you like. The possibilities are endless, just as the mountains of Norway.

The sock is worked top down with a twisted rib cuff and stranded knitting color work on the leg. The sock has an afterthought heel with color work along the edges.
