I’ve never been to Harper’s Ferry, WV but it looks like a beautiful destination for spring or fall which is the best time to wear a poncho. It’s a poncho that you will wear over everything to keep away the chill while looking totally put together at the same time. Knit it in a fun multi color or solid yarn.

More About the Yarn and Gauge
You will be knitting this poncho in a dk weight. Look for a yarn that gets 5.25 stitches per inch
or 21 stitches over 4 inches. Your ball band will give you this information so that you know that the yarn is a good fit for this pattern. Again, the needle size is only a suggestion as your knitting style may vary.
