This coaster is made with 12 yds of red and 4 yds of white worsted weight cotton yarn. This is an easy pattern made in sc stitches with increases and decreases, which are explained in the pattern. It has a “sc, ch 3” edging worked in white to contrast with the red heart in the center. Two stitch markers are used to help in shaping the top left half of the heart and in adding the edging.
