This pattern is in two techniques of crochet; Interlocking crochet technique and Mosaic Overlay crochet technique.

This pattern includes three files:

One
Written instructions with a one page chart for Interlocking crochet technique for a pillow size which can also be repeated as many times as you want to make a blanket size.
Note the file ‘Heart Link 1 Interlocking Crochet’ will give you a different design (the way the different hearts faces each other) compare to ‘Heart Link 2 Interlocking crochet’

Two
Written instructions without a one page chart for Interlocking crochet technique with different placement of the hearts. This has already been flipped compare to Heart 1. You can see the different ways it worked out in the pattern pictures in the store.

Three
Written instructions for Mosaic Overlay crochet technique with a one page well pre-ticked chart.

For interlocking crochet technique;

The pattern file contains information on the yarn, gauge, a description of how to start the first 3 rows with pictures, a chart and all the written instructions.
The yardage stated above is an estimated one, there’s probability you might need more or less than the stated yard, depending on your tension.

For this project you are crocheting an item with two colors, (or more, depending on how you want your work to turn out).
Please note, the chart is meant as a guide for you to know if you’re getting it right except you know how to work interlocking crochet technique from chart of course.

I advise you use the right hook size for your yarn of choice but if you crochet tight please go a hook higher to achieve a squishy effect.

For Mosaic Overlay technique;

Please note the amount of yarn needed will be higher for the Mosaic Overlay, due to tails and if you are adding border (this depends on what you want).
Finished size is approximately 20’ x 20’ without repeating the pattern.
From all the lovely testers who had tested this pattern, it produces different sizes due to tension. For Mosaic, we have 17’ x 17’, repeating it once from another tester we have 32’ x 32’.
For Interlocking crochet, we have 40’ x 40’ repeating it once.
