Heart of the Hill Country was designed for Roving Fibers Adventures knitting retreat in the Hill Country of Texas. It’s a great way to practice stranded knitting, not too much, not too little, just the right amount.

The hat is worked in the round, using two contrasting colored DK weight yarns. The brim is a 2x2 rib and the body a combination of one color stockinette and two-colored Fair Isle. The heart design is based on motif #147 from Mary Jane Mucklestone’s book “200 Fair Isle Motifs: A Knitterʼs Directory”.

Finished Measurements:
Between 18 - 19.5” 45.5 - 49.5 cm circumference and 9” 23 cm height, measured from bottom edge.
