A beautiful and luxurious addition to your collection of knitted washcloths or dishcloths, this design is easily modified to create anything from a scarf or cowl, to a table runner or a square in a knitted patchwork quilt. Simply add rows until you have the length you desire!

These also make an extra special gift for that special someone!

Size: 10” x 12”

100 yds (#4) medium weight yarn (I used “I Love This Cotton”)

Knitting Needles Size US 10 (6 mm) - I used circular needles, but straight needles would work fine as well.

Yarn Needle for sewing in ends

Cable Needle

Gauge: 16 stitches x 22 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch

Pattern notes:
This dishcloth was created with six hearts because of my six children. We all went through some very difficult times a few years ago, but we have become a stronger family because of it. The cables on the sides represent the strong bonds we have created as our hearts are more aligned now and we have learned the value of coming together to support and comfort each other.
The hearts are knit using a simple purl texture, while the cables are mirrored on either side using C6F, C6B, CP6F, and CP6B.
Written instructions as well as a chart are included.
