Finished Size: 4½“ foot length, to fit an infant.

Yarn: Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock Lightweight (100% superwash merino; 360 yd 329 m/127 g): hoofle foofle, 1 skein.

Needles: Size 0 (2 mm): set of 3 double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.

Gauge: 17 sts and 18 rows = 2” in garter st.

Note: The top and instep of the bootie are worked first. After finishing the top, stitched are picked up and the sole is worked using three needles, then the bottom is seamed. A seam is then sewn up the back of the bootie joining the cast-on and bind-off stitches of the top.
