Herringbone pattern is so easy, you won’t need to follow pattern after first 4 rows. Organic cotton makes this blanket super soft. Blanket is very straight forward and requires about 180 yards of beige and 180 yards of cream yarn and about 30 yards of dark brown yarn.

If you choose to add optional heart, it is knitted separately in garter stitch, with I-cord edging added afterwards. I stuffed heart with a handful of polyester fiber fill to give it depth before sewing on to blanket.

Pattern for matching herringbone hat with tiny heart toppers is available in infant and baby size.
