As the title suggests I have worked this scarf using the Herringbone stitch and then done Kutch work using the Herringbone embroidery stitch.
Kutch work embroidery is a very colorful embroidery which flourished in Kutch in the State of Gujarat in Western India in the late 19th and 20th centuries. It employs simple stitches like the herringbone which is then interlaced. Step-by-step instructions for doing the embroidery follow the pattern notes in the form of clear concise photos.
