Hexagons are stable and symmetric, naturally occurring in anything from a benzene ring to the beehive honeycomb. Hexaleaf combines the striking geometric beauty of a hexagon with the softness of a leaf.

Hexaleaf is a shawl filled with hexagonal leaf motifs. It is a double spined shawl, a shape that makes it stay nicely on the shoulders. It requires 400-600 meters of lace or fingering weight yarn. The shawl is easily enlarged by adding additional repeats.
