Seattle is a city of hills, and this chevron lace echoes the landscape of my hometown. It also creates a cozy cowl and wristwarmer set, perfect for multi-colored yarns. The pieces are knit in the round, starting with a scalloped beginning and ending with an eyelet border. Lace patterning shapes the cowl to drape around the neck, and an option is included for adding beads to the beginning scallops.

The lace is easy to memorize, and this set makes a great single-skein project. For variety, work it in stripes of leftover yarns, or use solid colors, adding an occasional garter stitch ridge to accent the chevron patterning.

This set can be knit in a variety of lace, fingering, and Shetland/sport/DK weight yarns.

Pattern includes both written instructions and charts.
