The Hinged hat is a slouchy beanie worked in the round from the brim and up. Set against reverse stocking stitch, the twisted rib of the hinged lozenges call back to the twisted stitches found in the brim. The hat is casual and fun with a gently gathered crown.
The pattern is knitted in Malabrigo Worsted, a soft singles yarn which really make the twisted stitches pop.
Intermediate - knitting in the round, knit, purl, simple decreases and increases, and finishing.
