Manly socks for the gentlemen in our lives with a wish for cozy feet, or women with a hankering for gentlemanly footwear. I used stockinette stitch in thick fluffy yarn under the foot that will comfortably merge together with wear.

The socks are designed to be worn over a pair of close fitting undersocks and/or trousers and as such are quite a loose fit. If you want these to fit closely, knitting a smaller foot width size is recommended.

Socks will require between 250 and 400 m of super bulky yarn.
Available sizes are S/M/L/XL approximately covering the following shoe sizes:
EU 39-47
UK 5.5-13.5
US 6-14

Gauge is 15 sts x 20 rows in stitch pattern on the larger of the two needle sizes.

Because I want everyone to get their perfect fit, whether you fit traditional sizes or not, sizing for this pattern is modular. You can choose LEG LENGTH A, FOOT LENGTH B and WIDTH C independently: any combination will work!

Sample represents LEG LENGTH A in size L, FOOT LENGTH B in size S and WIDTH C in size L to fit the model. Sample was made using 250 m of Drops Eskimo on 5.5 mm & 6 mm double pointed needles.
