’Hishigata’ or diamond sparkles in beautiful Tern by Quince and Co.
All over lace pattern finished off with simple garter stitch makes it modern looking and perfect for everyday use. Lightweight and of substantial size ’Hishigata’ uses 5 full skeins of yarn with only few meters leftover. It is advisable to purchase extra skein for swatch making.
The shawl is knitted from the center back out. A pretty lace with knit and purl stitches is easy to remember and interesting to knit. The pattern is worked on both sides, however, all yarn overs, decreases and increases are worked on RS only which leaves just knitting and purling on the WS.
This pattern is fully charted, with minimal written instructions.

’Hishigata’ is perfect for any season and very enjoyable to knit.
The only hard part is a choice of colour as Tern comes in quite a few lovely shades!
