When I was on vacation in Japan, I saw a lovely cotton blouse - loose body fit with flaring sleeve - I think a translucent organdy was used for the sleeve. Unfortunately the colour I wanted was not available, so I decided to make one for myself in summer yarn. Here it is! It is actually better than what I saw in Japan!

It is meant to be a quick knit. One of my testers completed hers in less than two weeks! That’s fast for a pullover, isn’t it?

Hiyaku is a cropped pullover with plenty of ease. It is worked from the bottom up in one piece. The swingy and flaring sleeve with eyelets gives breezy feel to the pullover.

Perfect over a tank top or a bathing suit as a cover-up. The body is cropped, but of course you can make it longer for your liking.
