This pattern is done in a half granny square style. I have written this as a one size fits all. This pattern is written in American crochet terminology.
If you wish to make it bigger you can do so by adding additional rows. Gauge isn’t really important for this pattern.

I used four (4) 7 oz skeins of Red Heart Super saver yarn in (4) different colors, warm brown, carrot, ecru and tea leaf. You can use any color combination that you would like.
