Here is a pdf pattern for a bunny or a bear depending on which ears you choose. It can be made with a straight edge to the body or the frilled edge. The size will depend on the weight of yarn you use and the hook size

It’s a good project for using scraps of yarn as you don’t need much at all.

You’ll need to gather:
Some yarn and a suitable hook. Using a DK yarn and 2.5mm hook, the toy measures 15cm from top of head to bottom of legs. I can recommend Drops Safran yarn and 2.0mm hook.
A sewing needle big enough to thread your chosen yarn onto
Some stuffing
Scissors

You’ll need to know:
Magic loop/ring (I have included a mini tutorial) and working in the round
Single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet and making a chain
Invisible decreasing (though I have provided a tutorial for this)

The eyes are embroidered but you could use plastic safety eyes instead.

It’s not a beginners pattern but I’ve tried to make the 15 pages of instructions as clear as possible. I would say intermediate to advanced – only because it’s a little bit fiddly in places.
