Yarn: 1100 - 1200 yards of main color; 400 - 450 yards of pattern color

The directions for the cast-on are not included in the pattern. I used the Method 2 cast-on that is on page 12 of Anne-Maj Ling’s book “Two-End Knitting.” This cast-on is also known as theTwisted German Cast-on, and today many videos for it can be found on-line.
