Absolutely love this pattern.

This time it is an oversize (slouchy) two color beanie. And it will fit bigger heads as well.

It has one of the cutest corrugated (two-colored) ribbings I ever made), followed by a herringbone edge and my typical horses in bands on it.

Running horses, jumping horses and at the top are prancing horses.
As it only has two colors throughout the whole project , it will be also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.

The stripes continue on the horsetail that ends in a cute tassel. The tassel is left in long strands to ressemble a horsetail.

I knit this hat completely in 4-ply sock yarn, in black an off-white. You will need about 45 g of each color.

Ich liebe dieses Muster! Pferde lassen mich eh nicht los ;-)
Auch wenn ich nicht reiten oder sonstwas kann. Ich finde einfach, dass Pferde wunderschöne elegante Tiere sind.

Die zweifarbige Mütze hat eine sehr saloppe Form. Sie hat wohl eines der schönsten zweifarbigen Bundmuster, das ich mir je ausgedacht habe, gefolgt von der Fischgrätbordüre und Pferdestreifen: Rennende, springende und tänzelnde Pferde.
Die Streifen setzen sich auch im “Pferdeschwanz” fort, der in einer Quaste endet. Die Quaste ist länger gehalten, damit sie einem Pferdeschwanz richtig nahe kommt.

Da die Mütze durchgehend in zwei Farben gestrickt ist, ist sie auch für Anfänger der Fair Isle Technik geeignet.

Die Mütze ist komplett in 4-fach Sockengarn gestrickt.
Für die Mütze braucht man in etwa je 45 g 4-fach Sockengarn in schwarz und natur.
