Originally designed for charity knitters, this hat is intended to fit newborn babies ranging from the tiniest of micro- preemies up to full term babies and slightly beyond.

A note on yarn: this hat is wonderful knitted in yarns ranging from fingering weight to worsted. Use the yarn of your choice in an appropriate fiber, that knits to gauge. Shown in Knitterly Things Vesper Sock (stripes), Malabrigo Rios (light green/yellow, dark green/blue), Malabrigo Arroyo (golden brown), and Sanguine Gryffon Traveller (purple). Using finer yarns will result in a smaller, but stretchier hat.
