If you’re anything like me, than you probably have countless leftover balls of yarn floating around your house. I can’t bring myself to get rid of them, you know, just in case I ever need that 20 yards of mohair leftover from a shawl I made in 2008! The Hot Mess Cowl is a great way to work all those leftover bits into a project together! Choose similar colors for a tonal effect, or go for a random rainbow. Either way the eclectic result is sure to be a versatile addition to your wardrobe!

This pattern is intended to use up all your leftover bits of yarn. You can add a new yarn in anywhere in the row, using your preferred method of joining yarns. A great way to prep your yarn ahead of time is to create a magic ball, joining all the yarns using a double knot.

Materials

150-200 grams of various weight yarns.
US 7-24” circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge (included if you purchase a JBW kit)
Stitch Markers
Yarn Needle

Gauge

Gauge is not critical for this project, since you will be using so many different weights, fibers and textures of yarn!
