With a simple first name like Kate, I don’t answer many questions about its spelling (my last name is another story!). However, I have a surprising number of friends who have to answer the question, “How many L’s?” all of the time. Some are named Alison and others are named Allison! They are a wonderfully diverse group of women, with different styles and interests, but warm hearts and giving spirits in common. This pair of fingerless mitts was originally designed and knit for an Alison, but – in the right color – it could suit any of them. Three cheers for the Al(l)isons of the world!

Knit in the round from the cuff up, these have a fair amount of stretch, so they can fit a range of women’s sizes. However, one could easily increase the number of stitches (in increments of 3) in the front and back panels to accommodate larger hands. If you’re unsure how to do this, please just PM me and I will be happy to help!
