Hudson the Rain Bear loves when it rains as it means he can put on his raincoat and his favourite red gumboots! His favourite musical is Singin’ in the Rain and every time he watches it, he loves to sing along and dance.

Getting an exact gauge is not important for this project.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

  • This item is a PDF that you download through Ravelry
  • The finished bear ends up approximately 11cm tall sitting down (including ears) using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller toy and vice versa
  • Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through
  • The pattern is available in US terminology

MATERIALS

  • Head, ears, muzzle, body, arms, legs, and tail: 8 ply (DK) cotton in brown - approx. 30g / 73m / 80yd
  • Hat and raincoat: 8 ply (DK) cotton in yellow - approx. 20g / 49m / 54yd
  • Boots: 8 ply (DK) cotton in red - approx. 4g / 10m / 11yd
  • Black thread to embroider eyes and nose
  • 3mm crochet hook for 8 ply (DK) cotton
  • Yarn needle
  • Polyester fiberfill stuffing
  • Black button approx. 0.8cm in diameter
