The Hunker Down shawl combines a beautiful textured, cabled bottom panel with a simple asymmetrical triangular shawl body, making it suitable for both occasion and every day wear.

The pattern is available to download in both US and UK terminology and has both a chart and written instructions. There is a step by step photo guide for making the cables and a video tutorial for the cables can be found on line on the Ditsy Pips YouTube channel.

I would suggest this is an intermediate level pattern although in the testing process it has also been made by confident beginners. The pattern has been both tested and tech edited.
