HYGGE is worked back and forth in one piece in brioche stitch and has built in i-cord edges.

This knitting pattern is for anyone who hasn’t yet dared to try the brioche stitch. It’s for all knitters who found brioche stich too complicated and challenging.

With HYGGE, I wanted to create a simple recipe so that anyone can knit this wonderful and effective pattern.

The pattern is designed so that the finished size of the shawl can be freely adjusted depending on the yarn length available.

Make it big or small, simple or fancy, with thin or thick yarn, solid or colorful.

Knit HYGGE your way - however you like it.

Recommended yarn:
Woodland Fibre Arts Pixie Dust (390m/100g) and
Woodland Fibre Arts Silky Lustre (365m/100g)

or

Cardiff Cashmere Classic (25g/112m)

Yarn requirements:
Sample is shown in Woodland Fibre Arts Pixie Dust and
Woodland Fibre Arts Silky Lustre both in Peach Blush
Total Yarn use: 200g - 755m

You can easily calculate the yarn consumption:
33% for the increase
33% for the main body
33% for the decrease

With this simple recipe, you can customize the shawl to your liking and your yarn.
