Inspired by the DAL Forum birds theme this beanie came into existence.

It’s a beanie about friendship and love.
It has a corrugated ribbing in red and white matching the hearts peerie pattern between the animal charts.

There are two doxies bringing back a stick (playing throw and bring back the stick), their ears flying.
Two cats from the back (a yellow and black one), the yellow cat has the paw around the others back.
Two robins in love complete the animal charts.
At the crown are hearts.

Because of the many colour changes this is a very demanding pattern but it’s absolutely worth it.
However, there are still only two colours in one round.

The hat will fit a head circumreference up to 54 cm.
For bigger heads use either bigger needle size, 5-ply yarn or both.

The original version is knit with 4-ply sock yarn of different manufactureres.

Enjoy and happy knitting!
