Here’s a cute little knitted Valentines’ Day gift!
This cute little Bitsy Baby doll is wearing a special “I love you” message.
Bitsy is holding a big soft heart with an embroidered kiss on it.

Bitsy Babies are cute little pocket sized dolls.
They are made from bits and pieces of left over yarn-
That is why they are called- Bitsy Babies!

They are so quick and easy to make.
An ideal project for new knitters and fun little project for more experienced crafters.

You can create your own Bitsy Baby in just an evening. –
The body and head are knitted in one piece and after seaming and stuffing the legs are created by sewing a seam through from front to back to divide the legs.

The arms use very simple shaping and are sewn on when making up this cute little character.

Size-14cm /5.5”- Just the right size to fit in a pocket!

Recommended yarn: -Stylecraft Special Knit DK, Paint box yarns Simply DK or any similar double knit yarn

Check the recommended needle size for your yarn and use a needle 1 size smaller.

This will give a close textured stocking stitch which will hold its shape well when stuffed

You will need-
9g Red-Matador (1010)
5g Skin tone- Stone 1710
Small amount of white DK

You will also need-
Handful of toy stuffing
