A simply striking shawl with reverse stockinette body and lace border, perfect for transitioning weather. The shallow triangle shape is very wearable, and the single lace motif keeps your interest without being overly complicated.

Charted instructions are used. This pattern is for the intermediate knitter. Stitches used: k2tog, ssk, yo, sl1k2togpsso.

Uses the same lace pattern as Deep Winter Hat.

Would also work well with slightly lighter weights, such as Plucky Scholar, Snug Worsted, or Cachet, if you knit the size Large as written (since the gauge will be smaller, you would need more yardage and the size will be several inches smaller than indicated).
