Three colors of yarn subtly shift throughout a spectacularly textured fabric in a wrap that is worked from the center towards the outer edges. Simple slip stitch and mesh patterns are combined to create shifting stripes of textures. Working the three different colors in each pattern creates a mesmerizing fabric that looks much more challenging than it is.

The Illuminate Wrap was designed for my 2022 Festival of Lights Hanukkah Yarn Box. The theme was “Let There Be Light” and the Illuminate Wrap uses color and stitch patterns to represent that theme. In the center of the wrap, cream yarn combines with rainbow to push away the charcoal.

Construction Details
Illuminate starts in the center and expands out towards the outer points. The wrap begins in the round for the Center Square and then is worked back and forth (flat) for the Side Panels. The wrap has an I-cord edging and is finished with an I-cord bind off as well.

There are Tutorial Videos for nearly all the techniques used in the shawl on my YouTube Channel which can be found here.

Additionally, there is an extra PDF download with a checklist/spreadsheet to help you keep track of rows, colors, and stitch counts (where applicable).
