A good sock to stick in your bag to work on while you’re waiting in line. Ribbed socks with just enough pattern to keep it interesting. This pattern works well with variegated yarns.

Directions for both toe up and cuff down are included. The pattern includes a short row heel and a wedge toe. Feel free to substitute your favorite heel or toe.

The name came from the fact that these were the socks I knit while meandering (and waiting in line) during the NY Sheep and Wool Festival.
