This slouchy hat, worked in the round, is the perfect companion for the Inshore neck-warmer.
The pattern gives directions to make a Small, Medium, Large and XLarge size hat.
The “Samples_Inshore_hat.pdf” contains the pictures and the specifics of all the test samples.

Sizes: S M, L, XL
Head circumference: S=19.68”/20.47” - 50/52 cm; M=20.87”/21.65” - 53/55 cm; L=22.05”/22.83” - 56/58 cm; XL=23.23”/24.01” - 59/61 cm.

The hat in the first picture (size XL) has been knit with 186yd / 170 m of Aran weight 100% superwash Merino wool (95 yd / 87 m on 1.76 oz / 50 g).
For the body of the hat: circular needles 16”/40cm long, size 4.5mm - US 7 (or size to obtain gauge).
For the moss st edge : circular needles 16”/40cm long, size 0.5mm smaller than the needles size used for the body of the hat.

The pattern is in both charts and text format, it contains links to video tutorials for the Tubular Cast on and the brioche stitch pattern.

On the download page there are two files : “Inshore_Hat.pdf” is the complete pattern with charts and written directions, “Samples_Inshore_Hat.pdf” contains the pictures and the specifics of all the test samples. My biggest thanks to the test knitters, their projects are wonderful!

NOTE : the “Samples_Inshore_Hat.pdf” does NOT contain directions, only pictures of the test samples, yarn amount, measurements and notes. There is NO need to print it to knit this pattern.
